Ron Brooks is the Director of Finance and Operations at the Center for Open Science, a non-profit organization in Charlottesville, Virginia. In his current role, Brooks oversees the accounting, operations, and human resource functions of the organization through his experience in financial reporting and projections, annual and single audits, sustainability, and organizational administration. Prior to joining COS, he was a Senior Associate in the audit and assurance department at Keiter, one of the largest public accounting and consulting firms in Virginia, where he specialized in nonprofit and single audits.
Brooks earned a BS in Business Administration followed by a MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Mary Washington. In addition, he is a member of the Town Council in Gordonsville, VA where he resides with his wife and two daughters.
