The openly developed SHARE infrastructure — launched in 2013 in partnership with the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) — will undergo a change in scope, shifting toward serving local environments seeking to test, measure, and innovate tools for aggregating variations of open, proprietary, and institutional data.
SHARE helped set the stage for the persisting conversation around high-quality metadata and curation that we know today. The Center for Open Science looks forward to its continued service in novel capacities for the benefit of strengthening shared scholarly communication.
